‘G’ in mobile communication technology means – Generation of mobile communication service. That is, the use of ‘jee’ is for generations, such as – 1G is the first generation, 2G second generation and so on 3G and 4G respectively mobile services of third and fourth generation respectively.
Every generation of mobile communications works on a special radio frequency spectrum. The data transfer rate depends on the bandwidth of the frequency spectrum. - This mobile communications technology in Finland in 1991 also had a low bandwidth (30 – 200 kHz). But compared to the first generation which was analog, it used digital technology. It was possible to exchange voice and written messages and data through it. Its data transfer rate was 64 kilobytes (64 kbps) per second. Sending an SMS through this is possible for the first time.
- The fourth generation of mobile technology, introduced in 2010, has revolutionized itself. It uses packet switching to exchange voices and written messages and data. This mobile service works on a frequency band of 2 to 8 GHz. The data transfer rate of 4G mobile service based on LTA (Long Term Evolution) is 1Gbps from 100Mbps. And its bandwidth is 100 MHz. It has twice the download speed compared to 3G. The high speed of the fourth generation mobile service makes it suitable for high definition (HD) mobile TV, video conferencing three-dimensional (3D) TVs and other applications, where high speed is required.
- The fifth generation of mobile technology will be based on tips on the IEEE802.11 AC standard. This mobile service will work on the frequency band of 3 to 300 GHz. This will help in providing more networks. The speed of 5G data transfer will be ten times more than the 4GLTE. This mobile service will be able to provide far more data than currently available 4G and it will also be energy efficient.
- Since the frequency is inversely proportional to the wavelength, the more frequent radio frequency means that wavelength will be located in millimeter compound. The wavelength of these (millimeter) waves will be between 1 and 10 millimeters. The biggest problem with these waves is that they do not get passed through solid materials. Due to this the walls or buildings work to obstruct it. These waves are also absorbed by the moisture present in the rain or air.
Therefore, for the transmission of signals located in the millimeter compartment i.e. the need for the mini base stations to be installed near the large network towers for transmissions. So that the barriers could be prevented from coming in the way of these signals. The base stations of such a low power (low power) reach signals from the big towers and convey the re-usage of the specified frequency to the communication devices (mobile phone etc.).
The other important aspect of the fifth generation (5G) network is called Meseo-MIMO. Memo Multiple Input Multiple Output is the abbreviation. Under this, large antenna arrays are used to transport multiple autonomous terminals simultaneously. This reduces network error. And thus increasing its efficiency.
The 5th Generation (5G) high-speed VR, 4K, streams, driverless driving, Internet of Things, broadcasting services and online gaming, etc. will be more useful. The length of the latency will be less than one millisecond in all these applications. It will be possible to establish life-line communication by 5G even during natural calamities.
Some producers have also started accepting specifications (specifications) for 5G in their products for 5G. Qualcomm has also announced its first 5G modem X-50. This company claims to be able to provide data transfer speeds of up to 5 gigabits per second from this modem. The AT & T plan is also to be launched in the next 5G mobile market. America will probably be the first country where the services of 5G mobile technology will be available first. It may take three to four years for us to get 5G technology in our country. Telecom Ministry’s plan to bring 5G technology to India as soon as possible. Now the Ministry is waiting for the 5G commercially available globally.
Reliance Jiao is also active in this direction. At the moment, with the help of Samsung, Reliance Jio plans to improve the 4G network services and also to establish a 4.5G network. Subsequently, Reliance Jio is considering the need to improve the 4.5G in a 5G network. Jai Chen, the chief financial officer of Huawei India, says that with 5G, high-end mobile communication technology will be available to consumers, which will change their overall experience of mobile communication. At present, companies providing mobile services like Reliance Jio and Airtel are working towards making the 4G-LTE network available across the country, there is no doubt that in the field of mobile communications, the arrival of 5G mobile technology The new revolution will be festive. But, 4G, 3G, and 2G mobile communication technologies will also have some useful utility in our country. Still, many rural areas are employed in the 2G network. Highspeed Internet is unhealthy for the majority of users of these areas. However, what will happen after the 5G technology comes to our country, it will know only after its arrival. But, it is certain that this technology will bring revolutionary changes in the field of mobile communication.
